What Dr. Argüelles treats
- All-on-X full-arch implants: a fixed set of teeth on about six implants per arch, for people who have lost, or are about to lose, all their teeth.
- Dental implants: a titanium post that replaces the root of a missing tooth, topped with a crown.
- Bone grafting and sinus lifts, when the bone needs to be rebuilt before or during implant surgery.
- Gum disease (periodontitis), treated before implants or new teeth so the infection doesn't affect them.
How treatment works
- Remote evaluation. Send your X-rays or photos and talk with the doctor by video.
- First stay, about a week. Records at the ECCO radiology center in San Luis Potosí (cone-beam CT, intraoral scan and panoramic X-ray), guided implant surgery and provisional teeth before you fly home.
- Second stay, about a week. After healing, the final teeth with Dr. José Miguel Guerra Silva.
Every surgery carries risks, and the number of implants and any grafting depend on your CT scan. That's why the plan is confirmed in person before treatment.
Technology
- 3D planning: each implant is planned on a cone-beam CT scan before surgery.
- Surgical guide: included in every All-on-X surgery, so the implants go where they were planned.
- Dental laser: depending on the case, it can help reduce bleeding and swelling and make recovery more comfortable.
